This is a question post to solicit help from people in this class who are good at recognizing characters. I've noticed some of us have moved forward faster than others, and I'd like to ask those to share any techniques that have enabled you to memorize Chinese characters more effectively. It would be disheartening to see anyone fall too far behind to catch up.

I know that everyone has various study techniques, but i found a way to help me memorize each character and I believe it might help you as well. Every time I study the characters I try to put them together in sentences and write those sentences at least two times and while writing the characters I say the meaning either out loud or in my head.
