so over my break two things related back to chinese... one is more comical then the other. on Christmas day my and my family did the very Jewish thing and went to a movie and chinese. in the chinese restaurant i was looking at there hanging wall drawing trying to figure out what it said.... unfortunately it was all in traditional script and i couldn't figure it out. it was a bummer that's for sure. NOW for my funny story: so on new years day my cousin and i wanted to take a picture of us making the symbols 2009 out of are hands, as you can figure we didn't have enough fingers to make the nine at the end so i told her to make the chinese symbol for nine. it was really funny because looking at the picture now she had her hand facing the opposite direction( towards her body). it probably would sound funnier in person but it made me laugh. I LOVE this class. it always keeps me entertained.
